The Sweet brothers were converted to Christianity in 1975, but began to walk away from the Christian faith. Playing in a band called Roxx Regime, which received critical acclaim from the southern California rock community, the Sweet brothers rededicated their lives to Christ after their friend Kenny Metcalf, who later became the original keyboardist for Stryper and is currently keyboardist of Justa Band, witnessed to them about Christ.
